Five Essential Element That Make a VR Article Post Effective

Article writing for the Virtual Reality involves knowing a bit about the ever-expanding domain as well as putting it succinctly for the B2B target readers. A content writing agency developing articles for a VR client can do well to start off with popular terms that are used in the industry. Knowing these will help you to frame the content in a better way. In addition you can do well to keep these 5 essential elements when crafting a Virtual Reality article content.

  1. Introduction

Imagine you attend a seminar, and the presenter starts directly running the slides. He/She does not introduce oneself. Also, they fail to give an overview of the presentation. Yes, you imagined the outcome right! You will have absolutely no clue about what they will talk.

It is a similar case in article writing for Virtual Reality (VR). You must give a gist of what your writing is all about. At least a couple of sentences to introduce your readers into the content will help.

Article writing services for Virtual Reality

  1. Subheadings

You may think that small articles like 300 words do not require subheadings and only long articles need a breakup. But, you are wrong; irrespective of the size, you must provide subheadings.

Subheadings are like bookmarks or signpost and help the readers not to get lost in the midway. They also help break the content into easily digestible parts. If your VR customer is looking to engage with a super busy CEO client then the VR article needs to appear in scannable bit-sized formats that remains crisp and ‘to the point’.

  1. Smooth Transition of Thought

Make your article interesting by having a fluid yet uniform continuity in writing. Move from one point to another in a sequence. Any abrupt or jarring sentence that strays from the main idea will surely annoy the reader. The content should have a smooth transition from one subheading to another.

  1. Links

Be it Vive, Oculus Rift, User Experience, or Lenovo Windows VR, your customer’s audience will be hungry for the latest happenings in the world of Virtual Reality. In order to enhance the value of your content, you can link third party URLs to your article.

You may think that providing links referring another site might make the reader move to another location. But it is a myth, and the fact is, you can give link internally to your article in another page relevant to this topic. This will help readers to have better clarity and will appreciate your proactive approach in giving them more details with your article writing.

A word of caution is, do not to provide a link of your competitor, for obvious SEO purposes.

content writing services for virtual Reality

  1. Have a proper article closure

When you write an article based on some word count, you tend to jump into conclusion to end your writing. That is a wrong approach. Your outcome must be the end of the writing and not the word count. Draft your article in such a way to provide a proper conclusion. In your conclusion briefly, summarize the content and let the reader feel satisfied with reading an informative article. Even though you write articles to promote your business, make sure you add to the knowledge of the client.

To wrap up

You may have a significant skill in article writing for Virtual Reality (VR), but failing to have these five elements discussed above will not add value to your writing. Initially,a few times practice consciously to write articles in the sequence given above, and eventually, it will become a habit. This way, you can develop impressive and informative articles.

8 Secrets to construct the perfect Blog

Creating a write-up is the process of delivering thoughts to words. No matter if it’s a speech, an article, a presentation for cooperates or a blog post, in all these scenarios, the way it is written will act a magnet for any listener or reader.

For a blog too the writing should be interesting and unique. We only get attracted to a well-constructed and engrossing blog post by a blog writing services expert.

Many believe that good quality writing can only come from experience or talent (as is the case with experts in blog writing services). But this is not entirely true. Utilizing some techniques as well, you can elevate the quality of your writing, add power to the write-up, and make it more convincing.

Interested to know what these secret techniques to construct the perfect blog are? Then read on:

  1. Don’t Hesitate

When you are new to blog writing services, you might hesitate to write in your own style, or put forward your own opinions. And that is one of the common human habits. If you’re really writing to pass on a message through your write-up, then stop hesitating and beating around the bush. If you don’t hesitate, you will be able to clearly put your own opinions or thoughts to a blog. When you express yourself clearly, your audience will be able to grasp it better.

  1. Know the difference between Passive voice/Active voice

When the object changes to subject, it is known as using passive voice

For example: “Ana sings the song” is in active voice; now the passive of this sentence is: “The song is sung by Ana.” Note that how passive voice uses extra words without adding any useful information.

All professional blog writing services companies should exercise caution to not use too many passive sentences in blogs.

  1. Keep it Brief

It doesn’t matter how good you are as a blog writing services expert, most of the readers won’t read more than a few sentences. They will just scan through the sub-heading and keywords. Probably even you are one of them too, while reading, so just keep in mind that less is more.

Break long paragraphs into shorter ones that are easier to digest. Use bullets wherever needed. Keep it crisp without using too many fluff words.

  1. Factor in sentence structuring

It works for everyone when sentences are short. They are easy to read and understand. And if long sentences are framed, they need to have appropriate punctuation marks to break the flow of thought appropriately

  1. Let readers have doubts, rather than keeping it transparent

Yes, you read it right! If you tell the whole idea or concept in blog content, then that’s it; they won’t ask for more. Don’t solve everything because your goal is to get the reader’s responses on the feature of your product, the competitor, or the reconfirmation before an event. So don’t solve everything for them, keep them eager to know more.

blog writing services for content marketing

  1. Mind your adjectives

Most of adjectives don’t add any information; they are just adding extra words to your content and increasing word count. For example: “This restaurant has many sumptuous, lip-smacking, delicious dishes.” After removing adjective you get the same sentence, but sharp “This restaurant has many delicious dishes”.

  1. Come to the point ( Directly )

Many times, blog writing services professionals may think that they are doing the reader a favor by showing off their writing skills with over-usage of words. This is really not needed and can become annoying for the reader. So, be straightforward in your blog and get to the point directly.

  1. Introduce story-telling in your blog

There are numerous blogs online which fail to deliver the message. It is seen that a blog which weaves a story in its content, has a better likelihood of establishing a connection with the readers.

In one case, people couldn’t understand the pros and cons of a software product. Even after structuring it well with bullet points, the sales remained poor.

The writer then simply brought one more change to the content. He created a story about how his customers saved money after using that product. As a result of this change, the customers related to the content better and sales too increased

Conclusion

As said, “First impression is the last impression”. It holds true for a blog too. So, as a blog writing services expert, take your time in understanding and using these 8 secrets to construct the perfect blog.

Why Quoting Sources in a Blog is a Smart Move

From the latest cricket match and the top actors of Hollywood, to the current food craze and the top business news of the world, the blogosphere is filled with every topic you can imagine. But if you are thinking of posting about something, wait and read this blog completely before doing so.

Current scenario in blogging

As it happens in all fields, there are some basic guidelines and principles in writing which a writer has to comply with. These are the basic tenets of any blog writing services and has to be complied with at all times.

One such important principle is the healthy practice of quoting sources for figures, statistics, verbatim quotes, and crucial facts.

Why is quoting sources essential?

1 – For credibility

The internet has brought a vast amount of information to users. With the help of just a single click, you can know the weather in Japan and the piracy situation in China. With this tremendous information overload, sometimes it becomes difficult to trace the source of an idea or a story. By quoting your sources, you would be providing credit to the person who has taken tremendous hard work to write the article or post. By providing credit to whom it is due, you would be protecting your blog’s reputation as well as an immunity in case of any legal trouble.

blog writing service

2 – For extra information

Sometimes, a reader might want extra information on a particular topic. So for instance if we have talked about blogging, and referenced an industry authority like Neil Patel for the same, then we can add this source. This way, if the reader is interested in an in-depth guide then he can visit the site and gain extra knowledge.

PS: The hyperlink above is a classic example of a quoting the source

3 – For protection from plagiarism charges

Quoting sources on another author’s intellectual property saves you from plagiarism charges. There are various formats for citation styles but the main thing to remember is to never forget the source. Representing someone’s ideas, words or thoughts as your own is nothing less than thievery. The content would be counted as stealing if you do not quote the proper source.

Ways to cite sources in a blog

By following generally accepted etiquette on sharing content on the internet, you can earn a great amount of goodwill and a loyal fan following. Some simple ways to cite sources in a blog are:

  • Directly naming the author.
  • Through the use of footnotes.
  • A bibliography which contains all your sources.
  • A hyperlink to the source URL so that if a reader click on it, he gets re-directed to the source URL

blog writing source

When to cite a source of information?

As an expert in blog writing services, you may wonder when to cite the source. The below are some scenarios inside a blog when you can cite a source:

  • When summarizing a paragraph
  • When quoting directly
  • When using diagrams, graphs, or pictures
  • When using an idea that came from someone else’s work
  • When taking an exact passage from the source

To conclude

If the original work has been copyrighted reproducing the same in your blog would count as a criminal activity and you can be subjected to criminal prosecution. By just taking a minute of to provide proper citation you can save yourself from a lot of troubles.

We would love to hear from you. Do let us know your thoughts on the post in the comments below.

How to Write Web Content For A Big Data Analytics Client?

Website content writing services is not similar to other write-ups that you may have been working on for all this time. It can be a challenging task as this type of material involves a promotional tone that blends in with helpful information about a service. If it is a Big Data analytics client you are writing for, then this becomes a very essential point so that the target audience of CEOs, and CTOs can be targeted better.

Without further ado, let us take a look at how this can be achieved.

  • Initiate the content with SEO- based keyword research:

A number of websites generate a lot of revenue from the organic traffic that reaches them every year. To generate that much organic traffic one has to have proper research of keywords before starting with website content writing services.

For your big data analytics client, some popular keywords can be ‘Hadoop’, ‘R Programming’, ‘Predictive Modelling’, ‘Deep Learning’, ‘Data Science’, and ‘Clustering’. Keywords are nothing but words that your Big Data client’s customers will type and then discover them on Google.

By using the keywords meaningfully within content (without making it appear stuffed) ensures that your client’s ranking improves significantly and allows your client’s brand to reach out to total strangers (i.e. new leads)

Read more here to know how to do keyword research in a smart way.

  • Be short and factual:

A lot of content on the web incorporates fluff and generic material that readers are usually aware of. Instead of just filling up the content with words that are repetitive, it is more advisable to choose short and factual statements that add value to the website content writing services. Just stick to the point that will indulge readers with an interesting fact leading to a positive impression.

  • Educate your readers with engrossing content:

Did you know that most of the Big Data companies’ customers look for the latest and most relevant content to gauge the industry authority of the Big Data Company? If you are writing content for such a company then make sure to come up with engrossing content that is fresh and unique. Some such references will be exploring the ‘long tail’ of big data to explore its variety or checking out the way Apache Spark has gone mainstream in 2017 and beyond. Writing content on these time-contextual things will elevate your Big Data client’s industry credibility.

  • Bullet points are helpful:

Another key tip to use in your web content is the use of bullet points. Bullet points are more legible and factual that will give readers the right information that they need to know. Moreover, studies say that any visitor who looks into a website tends to read the part about the bullet points more than the paragraphs. This is why web content should have high-quality bullet points that summarize all the key aspects related to the content.

website content writing services

  • Take care of the headings:

Besides the body part, the titles also need to be correctly written so that they have a broad and definite meaning about what the reader is about to find in the content. Moreover, the writer needs to make sure that the heading is correct to the body part without any fake information that may not be present in the paragraphs or bullet points.

  • Engage in active voice:

While passive voice is not wrong, the use of active voice simplifies a statement and is much easier to grasp. Any reader who will be taking a look at your content will want to stay active while reading it, but the passive content may drift a reader away from the real motive of the web content. This method does not mean that you should avoid passive voice to the fullest, just keep in mind that the ratio of the active to passive is in favor of the former.

Conclusion:

With the above key tips to keep in mind, you may have a better idea of how to enhance your website content writing services for Big Data analytics clients. Make sure that you feel what your readers want to read and keep them engrossed with the quality tips mentioned above. Keeping your content crispy, clear and precise will ensure better visibility and higher conversions for your Big Data analytics client.

big data writing expert

How to power up content for big data clients?

Here are a few simple tweaks that you can follow to ensure that your big data client achieves substantial gains with your content writing prowess

1) Do plenty of research and then some more

The importance of research cannot be undermined in blog writing or website content writing for big data customers. To create unique content, an original research on the subject is very essential. If you write by taking inspiration from someone’s blog it would not qualify as unique content and the big data client’s target reader will be smart enough to understand this.

For example, if you are writing about Big Data trends in 2018, you need to check authentic sources and create a unique content that will help your big data clients stay ahead with relevant trends.

So instead of focusing on old tools/resources/trends, you can write about new age tools like Kudu, MemSQL, and Exasol (all hot databases that with lightning fast capabilities for 2018 and beyond). Another example, a deeper research will show you that there are numerous other data sources than just Hadoop as we move into 2018 and this needs to be brought out in your blog.

2) Add more metaphors and stories

Stories and metaphors have the power of attracting a reader towards itself. Also, it adds more chutzpah to your writing. Often people don’t remember a single line from a full page they had read, but most often than not they would remember a story well told.

Also by providing metaphors and examples of your own, it will at least be guaranteed that the writing will be original and also it will reveal a part of your personality thereby attracting more readers towards your content.

3) Speak the truth and from your heart

Most of the people make the mistake of writing something generic which feels a bit robotic to the readers and thereby making them disinterested in your writing. It’s a basic truth that most writers fall into the trap of pumping out content and do not give much importance to the quality of the writing after a few months. So it’s fundamental to speak from the heart which will also make your content approachable and entertaining.

This characteristic within your blog writing services can be a vital magnet for CEOs, CTOs, and business owners – the key customers your Big Data client will be pitching to.

4) Use more visual media

It’s often said that “a picture speaks a thousand words”. Research has proven that visual medium is many times more effective in disseminating a message compared to a written article. So by inserting more images and videos in your article, you can attract tremendous eyeballs in a very small time span.

For Big Data clients you can create an original video or a short infographic story. This way they can gain incredible traction with your readers and procure a loyal fan following.

5) Crosscheck and proofread

Most people feel that going through the content one has written is a very boring task. Still, it’s very important to proofread your content before publishing as it can save you from a lot of embarrassment. Also by cross-checking the facts you can save a lot of damage to your reputation and goodwill as a dependable blog writing services agency.

These are some of the simple steps you can take as a blog writing  company for your big data customer. Following these small tweaks can go great miles in making your content more powerful, more user-friendly, and easy to comprehend for business audience of your big data client.

New GST Changes for Small Content Writing Businesses

July 2017 heralded the launch of GST in India, where every goods producer or services supplier needed to be included in the GST regime. For content writing companies too, they needed to register for GST, pay GST monthly, and file 3 monthly returns. If they provided inter-state transactions then they had to pay GST and the small business exemption (for those below Rs. 20 lakh annual turnover) didn’t apply to them.

What has changed from 6th October 2017?

In a landmark press conference of the GST Council, the finance minister, Arun Jaitley announced a slew of GST relaxation for different industry verticals. Right from small items producers to unbranded Ayurvedic items, there was a drop in GST rates for as many as 27 products and a few services.

GST for content writing companies

Even in the field of content writing businesses who fall under the small to medium enterprises, there has been substantial development:

1 – Change to GST treatment

GST Legislation before 6th Oct 2017

For content writing services companies with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 20 lakh, they were earlier exempted from GST only if they were within the state. For inter-state transactions, it didn’t matter even if they were below Rs. 20 lakh, they still had to pay GST.

New GST legislation after 6th Oct 2017

For content writing service companies dealing in inter-state services or intra-state services, they are now exempt from GST if their total turnover is below Rs. 20 lakh.

2 – Frequency of filing returns

GST Legislation before 6th Oct 2017

Content writing services providers needed to file 3 monthly returns along with one annual return filing (total of 37 returns in a year).

New GST Legislation before 6th Oct 2017

Content writing services companies with a total annual turnover of less than Rs. 1.5 crore will need to file returns quarterly. This will in turn dramatically bring down the amount of compliance needed.

Check Government notification for both these updates (Find the word “Relief for Small and Medium Enterprises” within the PDF file), and for all the new updates to GST regime.

What to Check in Proofreading for Big Data Content Writing?

Good content writing for Big Data doesn’t simply end with completing the first draft. In fact this is just 50% of the activity. Post finishing your draft (and reading it once to ensure all facts are covered logically), you need to carry out the below checks in order to make it ready for submission to the Big Data client.

Here are a few essential steps to take after your first draft is ready

1 – Flow of thought

Some things to check here are –

  • Just like the human body, content should have a proper structure. It needs to start with a head (introduction), have a body, and conclude appropriately (to reinforce the main point).
  • All thoughts on the Big Data Content Writing should flow seamlessly from one idea to another. I have seen many pieces of content where the introduction is great. But when moving to the main body
  • Have your content body split into smaller digestible parts with the help of bullets or numbered lists
  • All facts around the Big Data client need to be fact-checked and relevant to the current times. So if you write ‘Hadoop is a new distributed file system’ when in fact it was launched way back in 2011. Or if you write ‘ETL is used to create data visualization’ when in fact ETL is used to extract, transform, clean, and load into a big data database for further analytics and visualization processes.

2 – Grammar and spelling check

Make sure that all rules of grammar and spelling check are followed. Your command over the English language and the range of words available in your vocabulary will play a decisive factor in this point. Check out some key grammar misses that a content writer needs to be aware of.

Proofreading and content writing for big data analytics

3 – Readability check

Some of the checks to be done in this step include –

  • No long sentences. Break up long sentences to two-three smaller ones for better readability
  • One idea in one sentence
  • No use of passive voice

4 – Sentence structuring

Some of the quick checks in this point include –

  • Use of consistent 1st person or 3rd person tone. This will depend a lot on the type of content. So web content and blogs will be usually in 1st person (‘you’, ‘your’, ‘we’, ‘our’), more formal types of content (whitepapers, case studies, articles, company profile) will be in 3rd person tone (‘it’, ‘they’, ‘their’)
  • Uniformity in the entire content. Typically a piece of content will have a core idea/ theme around which it will revolve. Make sure this is followed at all times.
  • Check out more tips on blog writing for successful conversion
  • Another useful resource talks about finding your voice when writing blog content.

big-data-content writing

5 – Plagiarism check

Now your draft is more or less in the final state. One key check here is to verify that the Big Data content is 100% unique. You need to use premium tools like Copyscape to assess the originality of your content. Many freelance writers try to cut corners and use free tools to check for content plagiarism. However this is not advisable. Free tools may show a content as 100% unique even when that it not the case. Imagine if you pass plagiarized content to the Big Data client and she catches this issue? Not only will it be a huge embarrassment, but you will lose the client because of the lower credibility plagiarism gives to writers.

Another point that freelancers argue on is “I do my content writing from scratch, so why should I check for plagiarism?” My only point is – there are billions of pieces of content on the Internet. How will you verify that inadvertently no block of text is matching anything on the Internet? They do not have a reply to this.

The bottom line – plagiarism check is as fundamental to content writers and copywriters, as breathing is to human life.

To wrap up

Any worthwhile provider of content writing services in India will vouch for the immense importance of check meticulously after the writing is finished. This step of checking will uphold the high quality benchmark your agency is known for and ensure that you get better Big Data clients for the content writing work.

  • The power of deep research

It is important that your content is not just good to read but also adds some value to the readers. Experts say that without research you can never deliver high quality and informative content. Know how to search for information using the Internet and learn to identify a genuine source from a fake one. Without that your content will fail the quality control check. It also lowers your credibility as a writer.

  • Know your product and know your readers

It is necessary to know both about the product or service that you are writing about and the people you are writing for. The approach that you will take for a group of kids between the age of 7 and 14 years is certainly going to be different when you are going to write for a CEO, CTO or business owner who is a customer for web development companies. Also, know the vocabulary that will strike a chord with your reader. In the end, it is the popularity of the content that will decide the quality of the content. Remember, your readers are no fool either and will probably have a greater knowledge about the niche you are going to write. You need to remain on top of the niche subject and remain interested about it at all costs. Providers of quality in content writing services in India say that you will have to add to their knowledge and only then will you be respected as a content writer.

  • Understand your client’s needs

Every client will have some different requirement. It is your job to know what your client needs. It is much better to ask and clarify your doubts instead of delivering a content that does not meet the requirement of your clients. It is not just a waste of your time, but also that of the custom web development companies.

  • Deadlines are matter of life and death

There is a reason that every project has a deadline. When you are into the business of providing content writing services, remember that you will have to adhere to the deadline. Your content will lose all traction if it is not published on time and the business will probably lose valuable clients as the competitor seize the opportunity.

These are some of the simple points that will help you expand your content writing services for custom web development companies and help you transform into a high quality writer.

To Be A Writer Or An Editor – Know Your Calling

The content writing activity involves a series of steps to eventually result in higher visibility for customers. There are various processes that go behind creation of every piece of content and it is not just the effort of the writer that is behind each one of them. There is also an editor to check for the quality of the draft before it is published. These two form the backbone and there is no way any successful writing will emerge without these two. But, what is the difference between being a writer and an editor?

If we look at most of the small scale organizations providing content writing services India we will notice the trend of one person doubling up as both the writer and editor. However, what you need to understand is that these are two separate jobs and there is a reason why the more reputable firms providing content writing services India opt for separate writers and editors.

content writer or an Editor

What is the difference between being writer and editor?

Both writers and editors need to be well conversant with the language and have a really good knowledge of grammar and spelling. However, the similarity ends there itself.

Roles of a writer

1 – Creative thinking for engrossing content

The job of a writer is to think creatively and craft a really engaging content. It is quite natural for a writer to be emotionally involved with the entire content since it is the thoughts and emotions of the writer that are being put into words.

2 – Establish connection with target readers

There is more emphasis on the articulation of words and phrases which will make the reader feel what the writer is feeling. It is true that the writer should have a good knowledge of the grammar of the language in which the content is composed; however, there are areas that are overlooked often by the writer while composing the content.

Roles of an editor

1 – Sole focus on quality of content

The editor, on the other hand, is quite detached emotionally from the content. The editor’s job is to be critical and analyze the content minutely keeping in mind the grammatical rules and the punctuation. Editors often take pride in the ability to form perfect sentences and finding out errors in the writer’s works. It is probably one of the necessities for the job of an editor as well.

2 – Focus on getting the right content published

The editor must be able to find out every grammatical error and punctuation error since the writer entrusts the editor to make the entire content perfect without losing the essence.

A writer or an editor? – What is your choice?

The question is, are you more suited for the role of a writer or an editor? While this seems like a difficult choice, it is one that needs to be made. Even though a person is great at weaving words and come up with fresh ideas while also having a sound knowledge of the grammatical and technical aspects of the language, it does not necessarily mean that the person can be both – a writer and an editor.

An editor might not be able to come up with such fresh, creative, and radical ideas. However, the job demands perfect technical knowledge about the language, vocabulary, structuring, and flow of thoughts. And that in itself is enough for a person to be an editor.

To conclude

Whether big or small, every organization that provides content writing services India needs to remember that cutting cost by hiring one person for both writing and editing job will never let you scale up and provide exceptional quality content to your clients. And those who are hiring organizations providing content writing services India should check what they are signing up for and ensure that the content being delivered is proofread by a dedicated editor.

6 Amazing Blog Writing Tips to Grow Your Client Base

Are you passionate about writing or do you want to help brands engage with their customer? Then blogging is for you. Blogging derives its origin from the two words “web” and “log”. Whether you are new to blog writing or an experienced blogger, there are some basic rules to follow in order to have your blog read by many people. If you are interested to know about these rules, then you are at the right place.

Blog Writing tips that generate results

It is seen that most of the blogs are abandoned midway through reading the blog, due to lack of captivating content. Hence, it becomes paramount to catch and hold the reader’s attention. Here, we will show you some amazing tips that can change the way you blog and drastically improve your blog writing skills.

6 Amazing Blog Writing Tips to Grow Your Client Base

  1. Captivating headline

The first thing a person reads whenever he opens a webpage is the headline. Now, the headline should be so written that the reader thinks twice about it and continues reading. One practical example would be a cake displayed on a shop’s glass shelf, which attracts a person and induces him to buy, even though he had gone there to buy something else.

  1. Design of your blog

In a world of millions of blogs, you need to assess what it is that distinguishes your webpage from others. It is the design or layout of your blog. Keeping an uncluttered yet smart design would be preferable.

  1. Write to build trust

As the Net has grown over the years, so has the menace of fake news. So, it becomes imperative that the blog presents genuine and correct information to its readers. This helps build trust with the reader.

Once the trust is built, he will visit your blog often looking for a particular kind of information. Suppose you are a mobile blogger and a new phone arrives, yours would be the first blog he would visit to read about the phone’s review as he has complete trust in you.

  1. Timely blogs

It is imperative to regularly update the content of your site through blog writing, so that it doesn’t look jaded. If you can’t provide the information regularly or on time, the relevance of the topic will be lost, and the reader would move on to another blog. It’s very important to be updated to be relevant. For example, an electronics blogger who blogs on televisions will need to remain updated on what brands are launched daily and what’s the specification of the televisions.

  1. Crisp content

Always keep the blog content short and crisp. While the acceptable wordcount varies, it should be meaningful, relevant, and not be repetitive. A blogger should keep his topic in mind and not deviate to other topics. As the attention span of an online user is low, a short blog helps maintain the reader’s interest.

  1. Ability to dissect the content

Like a human body, a good blogger should be able to dissect a blog into three main parts. The head would be the headline in a blog. The middle body would be its main content, while the lower portion would be its conclusion. Following this approach helps in maintaining an easy to follow style for the reader to read.

Also, check your online presence to see how many people read your blogs. This can be done with the help of analytics metrics available online.

Follow these helpful pointers for your blog writing. With these tips, you can shine in the blogosphere and grow your client base.

Common Grammar Check Misses to Avoid in Website Content Writing

A well-written unique content that passes all grammar and spelling checks has become the norm for the online ecosystem. However, it is surprising that many writers still find it difficult to manage this elementary step in professional website content writing services. This factor keeps your content from performing to its maximum potential. Whether you call them glitches or bugs or technical issues, the fact remains that you need to get rid of these if you are to ensure high performance using website content writing services. This will also avoid additional time and resource utilization to ensure that the content generated is fit for publication.

What grammar rules to check in website content writing services?

website content writing services

As a digital marketing head, you will be tasked with the responsibility of creating perfect content for your marketing purpose and there is no way that you can afford to have these nasty niggles in your content. Let us check out the issues that you need to be careful about when looking at website content writing services.

  • Spellcheck failing to correct some common similar spellings

Believe it or not, the contextual spellcheck of even the best content grammar check tools is not perfect. There are many common spellings that can be overlooked, simply because the spelling isn’t incorrect. Here are a few examples that will give you a better understanding of the issue.

  • Use of “its” and “it’s”

The former means “belonging to something” while the latter is simply the acronym for “it is”. This might be a bit confusing for some people, especially since we are familiar to using the “ ‘s “ to denote “belonging to someone or something”, but it is the other way around with the word “it”. The fact that spelling of both the words exist makes it difficult for the spellcheck feature to correct it and make sure the correct word is used at the correct position.

  • Use of “their” and “there” and “they’re”

Believe it or not, even experienced writers make this common mistake. Generally it is a typo, but that does not mean that it will not ruin your organization’s reputation before your target audience, especially millions of sets of eyes scrutinizing every written online content. However, the spellcheck will not notice since all the three spellings are correct. It is the usage that matters.

  • Use of “you’re” and “your”

I have no idea why, but there seem to be a major problem with the use of these words and your content marketing software will most certainly overlook this bug since both the words exist in English.

grammar mistakes in website content

  • Use of “then” and “than”

I would give some slack to the writer here since the letters “a” an d “e” are not too far from each other on the traditional keyboard. But, you cannot afford to have this bug in the content. So, even though your spellcheck will ignore this, you need to ensure that the bug is removed.

  • Commonly misused words in English

This is a much more serious issue and even many major organizations fail to prevent this. There are some misuses of English that have become so common that they evade the most trained set of eyes. Do not let these misuses turn into your content marketing software bugs. Misuse of words like “accent/ascent”, “principal/principle”, and “access/assess” are so common that many major organizations have fell into the trap.

With these tips, you will be able to generate better content for your organization. You can even go one step ahead and delegate your content needs to a capable website content writing services provider. They will have in-built processes to check and eliminate these common misses and submit top rate content for your content marketing needs.

A World of Storytellers

Storytellers

Who doesn’t love to listen to stories? There are all sorts of stories that we love to listen to, and some of them happen to be marketing communication. When it comes to B2C communication, we have seen time and again various FMCG brands employing this trick while creating advertisements. Some of the prominent names that come up are Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and more recently, Double mint from Wrigley, have successfully used this method to get much higher audience and convey the message in a way that is hard to ignore.

The question we are facing today is, whether or not this process of storytelling will work when B2B communication is on mind.

Even though the communication is said to be B2B, it is in fact between two people. As a human being, we all love to hear stories. Some will actually say that the B2B communication is the best form of P2P communication (person to person communication). And, when another person is involved, how can storytelling fail?

Let us analyze our daily activities. We go about our business for sure, but then, we also catch up with friends and family, share our day, gossip, chat, watch movies and plays. If you think closely, you will see that we all enjoy the old form of storytelling and engage in it in one way or another.

Does storytelling benefit your business communication

Storytelling has its own charm – a fact attested by any content marketing agency. It is proven fact that a story has greater capacity of holding the attention of the target audience than any other form of advertisement or communication. Integrating storytelling into B2B communication will definitely help in capturing the interest of the person reading it and make it possible to present the data and ideas in a much more efficient manner.

B2B communication is a lot about data. However, no one likes to go through pages of data. There are very few people out there who will actually take time to pour over the sheets of data if you present one. But, if you integrate the same data into a small narration that feels like storytelling, there is a much higher probability that you will get your message across nice and strong.

How to be a better storyteller?

According to the 2016 report of the Content Marketing Institute, 41% of B2B marketers wish to be a better storyteller and that is one skill they all want to develop. So, how can your content marketing agency be a better storyteller?

Business communication often becomes quite boring and monotonous with all the data and figure on the sheet. You need to be able to present then in the best possible manner. Storytelling is the key.

  •  Be specific and to the point – Let’s face it, none of us remember more than 3 to 5 points we read online in a blog or any type of content. Keep yourself in your audience’s shoes. Be precise and give points that they will remember for long.

  •  Keep repeating your message – Don’t be obvious, but keep repeating your message.

  •   Make it conversational and interesting – It is easy to fall into the trap of creating a boring content that is quite business like. Do not fall prey to this. Make your narration interesting and use conversational tone.

A good content marketing agency will agree that there is no one way to use storytelling in B2B communication. But, when we start with “Once upon a time…” that’s a nostalgia none of us can escape from.
